[Eridan was getting to be on his way to Karkat's house when he heard a knock at the door. He rushed down stairs to answer, wearing a blanket as a cape, a jacket, and the scarf he got from Kanaya. it wasn't the nicest thing to look at, but it kept him warm. He's bundled up, but still very obvious he was a troll.]

[Fate, having run into Feferi earlier, wasn't surprised by Eridan's appearance at all. Or at least, if she was, it didn't show at all.]

Hello. Do you or your family need any supplies to help you through the power outages?

We have blankets, food and clothing to spare. [Signless gives Eridan a big, warm smile. If he's seen Karkat's human body he'll probably notice a lot of physical similarities between them.

Except, you know, Signless knows how to smile.]

[Eridan can't help but smile back. Whoever these two were, they seemed incredibly nice and caring.]

I could use some! Was goin' to my friends an' I don't want to be the douche who's showin' up all empty handed only havin' supplies for myself. Wouldn't be right a' me...Especially if you're havin' somethin' warm to drink. I know a few people there who could be usin' a hot chocolate right about now.

[Including himself, of course...Besides, he wants to make blanket forts when he gets there. The chilling winds blow through, Eridan's troll body flickers back to human for a short moment, causing him to wrap the blanket around him as tight as he could.]

[Fate pulls out a blanket, a nice, big one that might have been handmade by the drone wife that lived in the house before her, and hands it to Eridan.]

Here. If you're sharing with friends, you'll need something this size.

You look as if you could use this as well. [Signless rummages through the clothing sack and pulls out a thick, purple-striped sweater.] It's very responsible of you to have so much concern for your friends.

[That blanket is perfect for everything! Big enough to cuddle with people and still have some room to wrap himself in. Not knowing what to do and just being... flabbergasted at the utmost kindness he's been given lately, he puts the sweater on. Oh my god that feels so warm... A few purple tears go down his cheek.]
