And it's a genuine yaay because there really appears to be quite an upside and even more than that it's just awesome to be excited about playing again. What the hell am I talking about? Why my drum kit of course. I finally got the essential piece to the rest of my kit today. The snare! Yee haw! Tuned it up and it's with the rest of my kit. Some of you may know that I work/ed for an insurance company. Well recently I switched from a department that dealt with homeowners insurance to a deparment that helps people get back on their feet when going through financial hardships. My uncle passed away last night. Just found out. I'm going over there now. I have to call my parents and I don't know how. I don't know how to tell my mom her brother is gone.

Yeah this sucks. I'm home from work today because I had to get my car worked on. So that means I had to use vacation/sick hours and I don't even get to go do anything. I was just allowed to come home because my streets were blocked off by the police. Apparently they're looking for some guy who was carrying a gun. Had an assload of cops and dogs around here along with a helicopter. Not sure if they caught the guy but they're searching the house across the street at the moment. Woo hoo. Been keeping so busy these last few weeks, but in doing so have reconnected with a lot of old friends which has been really refreshing. Friday I went to my bro's Key Club show.
