It's ALIVE!!! ...Well almost.
What the hell am I talking about? Why my drum kit of course. I finally got the essential piece to the rest of my kit today. The snare! Yee haw! Tuned it up and it's with the rest of my kit. Now all I need is my floor tom which is supposed to get here in the next two weeks and the rim for my cracked kick drum, which is also supposed to be here shortly. The upside is my kit looks gorgeous and sounds gorgeous and it makes me happy evertime I see it. The bad part is that it makes me want to play a show with it. :(
I also FINALLY got my check in the mail today from the god damn state for my court fees. They've owed me this money for literally a full year now. My case got thrown out last January, AFTER they essentially stole money out of my checking account and today I get the $500 check in the mail that they owe me. Which is actually $60 short for the fucking service fee they charged me to remove money from my checking account on a case that was thrown out of court. Fucking retarded. But I'm not about to follow up on that, I'm just happy I got the bulk of it back.
So yeah, not a bad day overall if I do say so myself. :)
