My computer died this morning. It was a brief sudden power outage that lasted 15 seconds. Fifteen seconds enough to take the last legs out of my tired little 5-year old computer (funny how it happens but I get computers every 5 years; I knew that this one was going to die sooner or later, it had to get major CPR last summer and it took about 20

When and where I was growing up, we did not have Santa. Christmas was a fairly solemn religious holiday (even though we never fasted) with a more spiritual meaning. Gorgeous fall day today (pun intended). We decided to go for a day trip to the Poconos, to check out the fall colors and ended up at Jim Thorpe and the Lehigh Gorge state park. Colors were at their peak, and the place was fantastic and only less than an hour away from our holler... we spent several hours there, took the long way home and stepped
