Today is "Singing at the synagogue" day. Some good friends of mine get together once a month to sing just for fun. It's really good therapy but after the upset last night I very nearly decided not to go, and if I had to make my own way I probably wouldn't, but I get collected and dropped home again so I don't have to brave the chaos of public ( Read more... ) -

A tricky few days.
Since returning from Kate's I'm feeling pretty low. Not only do I miss her, and Thom, but I'm really feeling the pressure from Mum and Dad too. They are ploughing ahead with fixing up Rachel's room for me to move in and I REALLY don't want to.
Really REALLY do NOT want!
I don't like mum's cooking, I don't like their choice of TV, I find them ( Read more... ) -
The Downs and the "Ups"
I've mentioned before how Kate is very good about getting me out and about.
Over the last couple of days we have been exploring “The Downs”, though the area does seem to consist of a great may “Ups” too. Naturally I had my camera, and some very nice pictures are to be viewed in my facebook album.

Drawing and Writing with Thom has been fun, though I'd forgotten just how short the attention span of a 10 year old boy can be.
For the writing side of things I found a nice little “Dice” app for my phone, which let me customise the “dice” so I had one with “Descriptive” words like “sad, clever, old” and one to nominate characters, like “Astronaut, ( Read more... ) -
More adventures in Polegate
I forgot to bring my anti-depressants when I came down to see Kate and Thom and by the end of the weekend the excitement of arrival was wearing off and I was on another downward slide. Originally Mum and Dad were supposed to becoming down for ”Earth Hour”, so I asked them to bring my pills, but they decided not to bother because it was cloudy.

I'm at Kate's place for Easter, so I'm logging on with my mobile dongle and I'm trying to ration myself, it's not cheap and I'm still broke. Kate and Thom are great, and they've had me out and about. I very nearly didn't get down here though.

Hopefully they know that I'm available to talk to if they want to, but they just don't "want to".
