Acuvue soft contact lenses have amazing regenerative powers. I somehow managed to miss the saline-filled cup when taking out my right lens last night, and found it a shrivelled husk this morning. Figuring it couldn't hurt, I gingerly placed it in the case with a fresh squirt of saline. Lacking a replacement, I wore my glasses to work and got lots

I figured, but you never can be sure ;-)
I wish I could donate blood more (hey, someone else once saved my life by doing so, why shouldn't I help now?) but I get rejected half the time and then it's hard to fit in my schedule. Hopefully I'll find a way to quit making excuses and go do it after IM.

I've totally done that! With the Acuvues too. The only thing I noticed was that the texture seemed to be slightly rougher and they dry out more easily in your eyes afterwords - watch out for tears and so on.

Or just have cybereyes installed. With the laser option.
