The John Francis Donaghy School of Business, Jack/Liz, New York Stock Exchange, PGcsi_miamie126November 1 2008, 13:36:55 UTC
When Liz had asked him to teach the thing where rich people turn money into more money, Jack accepts this challenge. He claims he can do so with his eyes closed

Haha, I love the idea of Liz becoming schooled in all the business lingo. And of Jack being the one to teach her, of course. :) It was perfect that they ended up in front of NYSE, and we know how that makes Jack feel... ;) Brilliant!
Another Day Older (At Least I'm Not In Debt), Jack/Liz, the big 5-0, PGmichellekNovember 2 2008, 01:23:40 UTC
Jack was turning fifty fairly soon. He told himself not to worry about it; it was just another birthday, and he was reasonably healthy for a man his age. But his inner voice's mention of 'health' brought about a list of issues men over fifty routinely experienced. Difficulty achieving and maintaining an erection, less firm erections, decreased sex drive (even for a Catholic, it was difficult to believe God could be so cruel), and many health problems that didn't have to do with the sexual use of his penis. (To be perfectly frank, he wasn't ready to think about the phrase 'enlarged prostate

Oh Jack. How could you be concerned that Liz wouldn't adore you? *sigh*
I think I've figured out what makes your writing so awesome (to me). You can take any situation and makes it sound fresh and realistic and them. It's a testament to both you and Tina for creating/exploring characters that have such depth and are so lovable despite (possibly because of) their misgivings and failings.

Oh, I liked this. And I didn't even realize until the end that it was all dialogue. I could just see this scene so well! I like the subtle reference to Tina's Emmy speech too. This was very enjoyable, I liked it a lot!
Yankee Stadium or Wrigley Field?, Jack/Liz, "How many women have you slept with?", PGlavenderseaslugNovember 2 2008, 13:35:27 UTC
“How many women have you slept with?” Liz is pretty sure the number is too high to count to with both shoes on, and she’s not even positive that she wants to know the answer. Maybe she just wants to see what she’s up against. As if she hasn’t already seen the supermodels, the politicians, and Bianca. (Sometimes she wonders what will happen if she and Jack ever break-up. Will future girlfriends be intimidated by her? Will she get her own category, like Bianca

There is so much that I love about this one. First, the fact that Jack and Liz are having the conversation every couple seems to stumble into at some point. Here are some more:
Jack quoting Friends. That actually might be my favorite part. And I totally buy that he identifies with Monica (the line about her being suited for Six Sigma was gold), though I think Jack would actually land somewhere between being a Monica and a Rachel :D
The spreadsheets! Oh, the spreadsheets. And I love how the titles of each one perfectly suit the characters. HAHAHA: "Chicks I've Donked." I also love that you included Elizabeth Hurley on Frank's purely because she'd be on Jack's as well, but he actually slept with her.
Liz wanting to ask Jonathan was awesome too. Jonathan probably would keep track hahaha.
There's so much more. I just loved the entire thing. Great job! I'd love to see you try your hand at more of these, and at some of those "other pairing" ones too! ♥

“I just like seeing you in there.” He’s sitting at his desk in his old, hard-won office and keeps hearing her say those words. He can’t stop smiling. Maybe Lemon finally gets it. Finally realizes she reciprocates the feelings he’s been harboring for her for almost a year. Finally realizes their easy chemistry is definitely more than a friendship

I love the bit about him still adoring her in twelve years. Because yeah, he would. :D

Second: This has to be my fave line:
“I highly doubt that Dennis Duffy appreciated your keen wit and intellect.”
Because it's SO Jack, and bonus points for mention of Dennis. Whom I still love inexplicably. Like Ross and Rachel, but just not gay.

I really loved this line:
Will she get her own category, like Bianca?
Something about that is incredibly insightful. :)

I feel like if Jack and Liz ever do get together, Liz will get her own category. Bianca's got nothing on Lemon.
