the most amusing thing i heard today was an exchange between carrie and her dad from opposite ends of the house. it has a swear in it, but im going to quote it verbatim anyway, so dont be offended.

you never realize just how horribly squeaky all of your floorboards are until you get home 3 and a half hours after curfew. in that situation, with only the strength of your parents slumber between you and a potentially uncomfortable situation, every. single. step. sounds like a snare drum. the moral of this story, kids, is always obey your parents
