Since Friday was kind of a big emotional day and it was also kind of a busy week, I decided to withdraw yesterday and spent much of the day watching Coffee House/Page One which I adored up to the final ep, when it took a turn toward the WTF?

I enjoyed it a lot, even though once it was over I couldn't remember anything about it (unlike, say Secret Garden). OK, my mom is fine, I had the MRI and made a follow-up appointment with the ortho, and I still have a lump on the bottom of my foot.

Not only is my mom fine, she is doing GREAT, or at least she was the last time I talked to her (Tuesday). She had been discharged form the hospital, was at home, and was so busy she barely had time to speak on the ( Read more... )

The world didn't end after all and I'm back in the library. It's my last saturday of the semester, yay! In June I will only have to work 3 days a week (unless I'm given more hours, which would be OK with me) and in July and August only 2 days a week, because of the 4-day summer work week. Working late, because it's finals week or reading day or something. So the library is open till 9 (usually it closes at 5 on Friday).
