Since Friday was kind of a big emotional day and it was also kind of a busy week, I decided to withdraw yesterday and spent much of the day watching Coffee House/Page One which I adored up to the final ep, when it took a turn toward the WTF?

Things I loved:

ahah! you finished it, hurray! Umm...I found Eun Jun really annoying after a while, until she started to mature more, but I guess that was the point of her character. We got to see her grow and mature and become (presumably) a great writer. I also agree that it wouldn't have made sense for KJW's character to go after her romantically since never once did he show any interest in her that way. I think all of the T-ara fans assumed that he would get together with her and so were disappointed in the ending. However, there was no way that was going to happen ( ... )

However, there was no way that was going to happen.

Nope, no way! Though he did seem to indicate some interest in her, it never really tipped over into romantic interest. But I think in cultures which prioritize m/f romantic relationships (especially older man/younger woman or good-looking actor/female idol) that reaction is not surprising.

What about the last episode did you not like?I actually found it believable that she would agree to marry the fiancé. She set them both tests--for the fiancé it was the 100 arranged dates (which made me laugh because it ( ... )

I think he was interested in her as a person, in seeing her grow up, but I never saw any hint of romantic interest, so if they'd gone that way I would have probably puked ( ... )

I think he was interested in her as a person, in seeing her grow up, but I never saw any hint of romantic interestit wasn't romantic interest, exactly, but he kept noting that other guys were interested in her. Which at the time seemed almost like jealousy but as the drama went on it was clear it was more like amused disbelief. But I felt like he kind of enjoyed the tension--he didn't try to clear it up until she acted on it ( ... )
