Who: Terra, OPEN
What: Terra hates everyone.
Where: The Northern District
Idiots.
They spammed the network with poorly-drawn sketches. Either a sign of boredom, or of low intelligence. Or both. Terra had better things to do.
She checked once more. Oh no, now it was something about robot sexual preferences.
What was wrong with this city? Back in Jump, the monotony of life was interrupted on a near-daily basis by some supervillain or thief wreaking havoc. And then the Titans would swoop in and get their glory, and the people would go back to their monotony. There wasn't anything like that in Nautilus.
Even Wykkyd was drawing stupid pictures. Was this really the same kid from the HIVE? Terra had never actually been in there, but she knew the HIVE was a very strict academy, and it churned out some pretty competent villains. And yet, here was one of its students, drawing a cat.
Unbelievable.
Terra swept an arm to the side and the ground split, a massive boulder lunging sideways to take out a tree. She wasn't sure what she was feeling. Frustrated that everyone in Nautilus was acting so ridiculous. Bored because Slade hadn't given her anything to do since the map assignment. She was nearly at full strength but had nothing to do with all this energy.
And nothing was fun in Nautilus if the rest of the Titans weren't here. Especially Raven. What about Beast Boy? It wasn't enough to hurt and punish and attack the peripheral members of that stupid team. She wanted the core.
With a few wrist flicks, Terra constructed an earthen lounge chair for herself and settled in. She hadn't heard from Slade in several days, not counting his little barging-in on her conversation with Wykkyd. And while she had seen quite a few people during her mapmaking, they had all been at a distance.
She didn't need friends. They just let you down.
Still...she might have been a little...lonely.
