Lots of dance events this weekend... will hopefully get my mind off of everything.
Today was the last day of school for one of my clients. Maybe I'll see him again next year. Another student in his class said "I want Miss Natalie to be MY TSS next year." lol so that was sweet. Hopefully I'll be able to have a position at that school next year.

Yes, I hope I will.
Actually I chose Slippery Rock. It's closer to my house and seems to have more research opportunity.

What kind of dance do you do? Have you ever done ballet? I used to do ballet when I took breaks from gymnastics. I was chiefly a gymnast and my body was made more for that, I think. I was pretty muscular in high school. When I brought it up, my brother said "You were a beast!" lol. He meant it as a compliment.
Also, I know it feels like a long time, but I have a close friend who did a Master's and now is in a Phd program and things are going great for her. The Master's won't take too long, then you can do your Phd. Many can't even get a Master's! You are smart and talented to get that far. You'll reach your goals, even if it takes a couple extra years.
And I'm sorry for your loss and difficulties as of late. *hugs*

Right now I do ballroom dance. I have done ballet in the past as well as hip hop, belly dance... but mostly modern. I was in a modern dance company in IL for a year during my senior year of undergrad. I think I liked modern the best.
I could definitely see you as a gymnast and ballerina!! :D
And thank you, I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible about this Master's program.
You're so encouraging, I really appreciate it.
*hugs*

Wow, a modern dance company? That's impressive!

Yeah, it was a small dance company. We didn't compete or anything, just preformed around the Chicago area. The only reason I got in was because I knew the director and didn't have to audition :X
