omg you have totally inspired me to do a post like this. because i think my list would be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. lmfao. omfg brain twin, we have like OPPOSITE taste in teams. WHAT IS THIS.

anyway. so. yesterday, before the game started, they were showing random clips of pre-game stuff, and the camera settled on Kurt and Ben standing together and chit chatting on the field with their heads together so they could hear each other, and they were literally giggling. it. was. adorable. i was like OMG WHAT IS THIS, WHY ARE THEY GIGGLING LIKE THEY'RE AT A TEA PARTY WHEN THEY'RE ABOUT TO ATTEMPT TO MURDER EACH OTHER IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES.

I actually went "awwww!!!" and jack was like "i'm the gay guy here, and you noticed that before I did. I worry about you sometimes."

I'm not into sports at aalllll but I used to be into the Mariners back in the day. Like, back when we had all the cool people. I have no idea when that was.

I drove past Safeco the other day though and was looking at all the players on the side and I was like, "I don't know who all these people are anymore...." Except Ichiro. Everyone knows him.

Well they were really good in like 2000-2001 and also back in 1995. You're probably thinking of 2001 when the won 116 games, we definitely had the cool people then.

And I'm a huge M's/sports fan but even I have no clue who these people are these days, except for Ichiro and Felix Hernandez. They traded away the remaining good players this offseason. :(

Actually, I think it was more back in 1995 that I was thinking of. I used to go to Mariner's games a lot with my dad as a kid, and was pretty into it all, and it was probably about that time. Back with Ken Griffey Jr, A-Rod, Randy Johnson, Edgar Martinez, etc. Those are all the names coming to mind of the team back then, but we had a lot of big names.

Oh, yeah, I know Felix Hernandez too. Haha, I'm glad it's not just me. Boo. That sucks though. BRING BACK KEN GRIFFEY. DOOOO IT Ms!!!

I still die a little inside to see Brett Hull in a Wings jersey. This might have something to do with the fact that my husband is a HUGE Blues fan, and our son (who was born in '94) is named after Shanahan...and we suck now.
