I'm cautiously optimistic about the new stimulus bill. Which is more than I can say about the bailout bill, which (as I mentioned might happen at the beginning has only turned out to help executives.

I'm really afraid of this stimulus bill. Very much seems like we continue to sell our future to avoid some short term pain. Its really a very short sighted approach.
And so much of it (no, not all of it) is on frivulous programs. Its really a govt spending program disguised as a stimulous.

I agree with you about wanting someone to do well w/o steroids. Im not a big Arod fan, but it would have been nice if he was clean.
ps though, dont think for a second that none of the Sox were on it. There's a lot more names on that list.

I know. In fact, I know of at least one that was named in the Mitchell Report...though he never played that long for the Sox.

ps, i really do hope the bill works, but I'm still afraid of the long term consequences.

Roisin Murphy's album is kinda fun (do you have Overpowered?). i wonder how to say her name correctly... i know it's Irish & that there's an accent over the O, i think? anyways i have a few of the first songs on my little workout mp3 player :)

i really dig Adele's voice... it's soulful & she has some power behind it. i listened through the album initially & kinda gravitated to a couple songs which i listened to primarily... i should go back & listen to the whole thing.

& Erin McCarley has kind of a cute voice... she sounds a lot like Meiko. have you listend to Meiko at all? i think you'd like her.

Yeah, Overpowered is the album that I have. I must've gotten it from you or Matt....

I listened to Erin McCarley's album today. I'm thinking I should check Meiko out as well.

i like her... i can take her voice in small doses :P not sure if i'd wanna listen to the whole album in one go...

my favs are Mercy, Delayed Devotion, Stepping Stone, & Distant Dreamer.
