Let's see, food, booze...no wait...some gunpowder, the rest can dry out, maps Anko ran through the impromptu list she'd put together in her head of things to save--unless someone directed her otherwise.
And people of course, if she came across anyone in need of rescuing.
There would be time to worry about possibly crashing and dying later...if there was a later.

He sounded just like his brother at that moment, shoving his communicator back into his pocket. "Anko, where's Kambei?"

"We're gonna drown, aren't we?" he muttered. "Oh shit. Oh shit oh shit oh shit."
He wasn't panicked, just freaked out.

And then Reno started panicking. Reaching up, she smacked him in the back of the head, not hard enough to do any real damage, but hard enough to hurt. "Snap out of it! We are not going to drown."
"At least," she muttered, "Not if I have anything to say about it."

Once inside, he draped Reno carefully across the shelf to get his hands free while he tried to push the door back shut while he still could.

Surveying the boxes around her, Anko tried to start sorting out what was so water-logged it was ruined and what still might be saved by stacking up higher.

She wedged a few food boxes as securely as possible above the water line so they would come flying out at them upon their assuredly bumpy landing. But really it was just shuffling boxes about, waiting for the crash that was to come. Finally, she sat herself down on a box one higher than the tide line to wait. "Funny thought, drowning in mid-air," she mused aloud.

Once the boxes were situated, he hoisted Reno back onto his back, carrying him piggyback to keep the best hold on him. "To be honest, I'm not that big a fan of the water, either."
