Now, Red had just finished shopping and was making his way back to his room. The gifts he was giving out, safely tucked into a sack.

However, before he could even leave the deck of the ship, Pikachu (wearing his cap) had jumped off his head and taken off, sniffing wildly at the air. Determined and on a mission to find the what she was smelling.

Normally Red would of just let her go. Pika was smart and always came back. However, it was the day before Lunasa, she might just be trying to steal some food from some people.

So he followed her, still holding the sack. Too much sure she didn't do anything bad (and to get his hat back).

There is no way, this could end badly, right?

Eevee continued running through the halls, following her nose. The smell was strong all over the place here! But soon she found a trail that was even stronger, and started heading back around to the deck...

...and running head first into Pika.

"Vui!" Oh she was a happy Eevee indeed, squeaking in joy. Of course Green had to follow and ruin it.

"What the- oh god not another rat." Green grumbled, moving over to pick Eevee up- only to see that hat. "No way..."

"Pika!" And Pika was a happy Pikachu! Flopping on top of her favorite fox monster. But she noticed Green, and let out a small "Chuuuuu." And let her cheeks spark slightly in warning.

And as if on cue, Red appeared...and promptly stared at the sight in front of him.

Eevee immediately set to work grooming Pika's ears, not at all worried about the sparks. Green on the other hand just frowned. "Don't look at me like that Rat, I-" Oh and there was the culprit himself. Green growled, going on guard.

"THERE you are, idiot!" he snapped, as if finding Red here was all according to plan.

And lucky Green, his plan was working out! There was indeed, one Ness Lakehaven on the Convoy, and he was awake at that ungodly hour making sure his gifts were all in order. One for the captain, one for the first mate, one for Paula, ones for all his friends on other ships... (what a coincidence they were all here for Hanami!)

Oh, and he had pulled the night shift that particular day too, but no one was coming in sick or injured, so why not use the time to get ready for the holiday? The door of the infirmary was open, inviting everyone in.

Eevee had been looking for Pika, but another familiar scent caught her attention on the way. She hadn't seen Ness in more then the barest passing in years, but she could smell Pika on him too, so that helped.

The little fox monster trotted right in, looking up at the young doctor and yipping. "Vuu!" It was nice, seeing so many old friends in one place!

The noise caught Ness off guard. When he turned around - was that Eevee? Ness only knew one person who owned something like that. This could be an entirely different monster and not the one he knew.

"Eevee?" he asked. If this was really the monster he knew, then it should give him some kind of indication of recognition.

"Vee!" she chirped happily, running over and hopping to be picked up. Was Ness this tall when she last saw him? She really couldn't remember for sure, but it was him! And if he was here then Red was here. And if Red was here then Pika was for SURE here.

Meanwhile, poor Green wandered the halls, hissing out Eevee's name, trying not to wake anyone up. If he was caught he'd be lucky just to be thrown out, if not arrested. He noticed the open door and the light, and slowly snuck towards it. She must have gone in there...

The boys were not the only ones up late. After spending a bit of time in the kitchen with Hex, Paula had successfully procured all of her cookies for the next day. The little bundles sat happily on the try she held in her hands, just waiting for the next day when they'd get delivered. She wasn't on the look out for any new faces, so she almost missed the sight of a fuzzy brown behind up ahead of her.

Eevee was almost around a corner when she noticed someone near-by. Her ears perked and she turned around curiously. It was a girl, one she didn't know. But she didn't seem dangerous in any way... oh why not? She trotted over, looking up at Paula.

"Vui?"

Paula blinked. "Vui?" She repeated curiously. Where did... Paula glanced down around her feet and finally noticed the foxy little creature. Oh, well that was an odd sight. It kind of reminded her of Red's, what was it, his pikachu. She glanced around for any sign of the boy and shrugged when she found none.

She crouched down to the fox's level to get a better look at it. "Well aren't you pretty. Do you belong to someone on the ship?"

Her chest puffed up in pride at being called "pretty". She yipped again, running in a few tight circles before trotting down the hallway, glancing back to see if Paula was following.

Pip gave out a yawn as he walked around the many corridors of the Convoy. Most of the crew was out still for the night, given the festivities and all, but the first mate had opted to stay onto the ship and keep an eye on things. The last thing he needed was a repeat incident of what Hexadecimal had pulled - he had learned his lesson pretty damned well since then, even if nothing there had been intentional.

Besides, it's not like I have anything on... the man sighed as he puffed out a cloud of cigarette smoke. Last time he would have spent nights like these partying around with his men back in Garettstown... now though, things were very much different. Still, he wasn't going to look back at that - he couldn't let what had already happened drag him down. It was Lunasa, a time to be happy and merry, and that was what Pip would do... somehow.

As Pip walked, a small bundle of brown turned the corner, followed by a young man looking very unhappy. The monster yipped in surprise, and Green froze like a spotted deer. Oh hell he was having really bad luck at being sneaky...

He turned, meaning to book it before the smoking man could catch him.

The noise was what alerted Pip first, and the first mate blinked in surprise at the sight of the boy and the strange creature that was with him. Man, there really seemed to be more of them nowadays--

Then the guy turned, as if in a hurry, and it sank into Pip's brain that this guy wasn't part of the ship at all.

"H-Hey, mate!" he started, breaking into a run after the boy in an attempt to catch up with him. Man, he really needed to pay more attention in times like these.

Oh damn it all, he was chasing him! And at times like this discretion was the better part of valor, so he ran full tilt, scooping up Eevee, since he knew her short legs wouldn't be able to keep up. He just had to find the gangplank and get lost in the festival.

Checking all the rooms for Pika, Eevee soon found Gintoki sleeping. Her nose twitched: he smelled like berries and sugar, two of her favorite things. Curious, she trotted in, sniffing at a dangling hand before licking the sweet taste off of it.

After cleaning his fingers the little catfox hopped up onto the bed, hardly even making it shift under her teeny weight. Sniffsniffsniff... that sweet smell was all over! Especially near his mouth. He must have eaten something very very good.

With a soft "Vui~" She started licking at his cheeks, both to get the taste, and maybe wake him up. Maybe he'd give her some!
