It was about time for Tamaki to check up on the people who volunteered as hosts. Were they dressed well? Is their hair combed? Well... we'll have to see about that.

Naoto would be lying if she said she didn't feel awkward. She would rather not be a host, but it was a good cause, and Count Suou had insisted that she be a host. Therefore, she'd put up with it. But only this once, of course. She was dressed in her best clothes, somewhat messy hair combed neatly and parted to one side. She didn't know the first thing about being a host, and hoped that Count Suou would at least give the basics.

Out of all who entered, it seemed that it was Naoto who really knew what he was getting into. That made Tamaki smile, sliding towards Naoto's way.

"I'm glad you're getting the spirit of this!" He brightly greeted as he straightened the tie on Naoto's neck for a bit.

"Are you ready to serve up some good soup today?"

Naoto knew about hosting, even if she didn't know the specific details of it. But she did know that looking one's best was the basic place to start. She almost shied away when he moved in to adjust her tie, but managed to hold still.

"Yes, of course," she replied. "It's a good cause."

[Note: You guys are free to go on and on in this thread without Tamaki's help, unless you request for his presence. Just ping me in IM]

The menu for today is soup. How hard can soup get? Well if Tamaki Suou is involved then a normal chicken soup is definitely out of the question. The man had left a note to the chicken staff that he wanted some fancy selection of three soups: pumpkin cream soup, vichyssoise, and congee with century eggs. The breads also had to be made fresh and crunchy. Nothing stale or second-rate. Only the best for the people, he said. Only the best.

Once Tear felt that the event coordination was well underway in Paleano and Ciel's hands, she turned her attention to the kitchen. Cooking generally needed numerous preparation, so the young woman came an hour earlier to set up ( ... )

Kairi almost rushed into kitchen, plain dress with short sleeves intact for the occasion, as cooking could be quite radical when they had to work with limited time. She fervently hoped she wasn't late: this wasn't usually like her. Not minding the surroundings, with experience, she was aware that there was no chit-chat. Just go straight to work. A lot of people were alreayd flowing in for the dinner. She noticed two cook books in the counter, and walked to it, her eyes flickering through the recipe. She flipped the pages to study those that had tags, and tried to memorize them at least a bit so she wouldn't have to go back and forth too much. She probably would have to, however, knowing the pressure ( ... )

Catching the sound of a female voice, Tear carefully shifted her attention away from the preparation of another cream of pumpkin, as her mind instinctively registered the young girl standing there, idly taking into account her wine red hair and indigo blue eyes. The quartermaster didn't quite recognize her, but then again, she still didn't have the opportunity to learn each and every face of the crew just yet. However, she could only take one day at a time, and there wasn't any use in rushing. Although, at the moment, slow and steady couldn't win the race presently known as Count Tamaki's soup kitchen. Fortunately, here was a volunteer that seemed ready and focused on the pertinent matter at hand ( ... )

[As far as I know, this is Tear, Ciel, and Colias. You guys are free to interact as much as you want, and should you need Tamaki, just ping me in IM or send me a message! I'll come running]

Well... what the hell? This event ain't your usual soup kitchen, isn't it? With all the extraneous request of the host, how the hell will these folks keep it together?

Count Tamaki Suou was always a man of surprises and his idea of a soup kitchen was no exception. Of course, with such a grand project, the preparations undoubtedly proved just as elaborate ( ... )

[Note: It would be nice if some of the hosts would welcome these curious onlookers and give them the host club experience. Members of Amestris, you re free to enter the host club~ We'll have a host welcome you~]

There's a fragrant scent coming from the kitchens and it's been bothering you the entire day. There seems to be a lot of activity inside the music room that it was irresistible not to check or look at what is happening.

Okay, so what really attracted Chopper to the scene were the desserts. Running around the ship really got a guy hungry, and by the time he caught a whiff of chocolate, Chopper couldn't help himself! He simply had to have a look at what was cooking.

But cautious as he was, he hid behind a corner. This being Chopper, though, only a quarter of him was really hidden.

"Welcome, dear fellow." He greeted to the little guy who was near a table but was still quite shy to approach it.

"How may we be of service to you today?"

Startled by the man speaking to him, as well as the failure of his great hiding strategy, Chopper jumped out behind the wall.

"Um, just-just running through to an errand! I'm not looking at that chocolate at all, you bastard!"
