Characters: Maka Albarn and Chrona Content: SHOPPIN' IN GARRETTSTOWN. :V Setting: Garrettstown. Time: Early Afternoon Warnings: None, save for maybe Ragnarok's mouth.
".... I dunno." Chrona said, still looking around the shop. Since she had never worn any of these outfits, she didn't know what she'd like.
She seemed unaware that she was still clinging to Maka's hand as she wandered a little further into the store, hoping to find something similar to her clothes now.
"...Hmmm," she seemed to be debating with herself in response to Chrona's question, "What about something with pants?" Because as much as Maka liked her skirts, she had to admit that some things were easier to do while wearing pants.
"Although it might be easier to look around and find something you actually want if you didn't still have ahold of my hand," she noted with a little laugh.
"O-Oh! Sorry..." Chrona quickly pulled her hand away, clutching it briefly with her other hand before moving up to clutch her arm. Her cheeks were red, and she was staring straight down at her feet again.
"Um... I-I could try it on, I guess..." She mumbled.
"Oh, well, I mean..." Maka sort of felt bad now. She hadn't realized that Chrona would have looked so flustered for just that. Maybe she should have, though.
And thus, to avoid commenting further, she grabbed the first thing that looked like it would make an actual outfit when put together, and sort of held it near the other girl. It looked like it would fit, anyway.
"This looks like it'll probably work," she said, gathering the clothes up again, hoping in the back of her mind that she wasn't inadvertently convincing Chrona to try on something completely ridiculous, "How about it?"
Chrona took what Maka was holding out; a pair of plain white pants and a high-collared, button-down longsleeve shirt. Simple enough. It looked much more comfortable than the dress she wore, too. She remembered when Medusa first started her training sessions, and she would constantly trip over the hems of her dress...
She shook her head, trying not to think about the past. She didn't want to wind up feeling depressed during what was supposed to be a nice day out. Instead, she looked around, looking for the changing rooms. "Where do I...?"
