Chrona did not like Garrettstown.

At all.

She had thought the crowds at the port where she first boarded the Fiertia were bad, but this was a whole diffrent story. There were a lot more people, and it was much louder, with the various merchants trying to attract customers to their booths. Chrona couldn't deal with the noise.

But Maka had a point; the only clothing she currently had was the dress she was wearing at the moment. The fabric was thin enough already, so who knew how much longer it could last. She hoped this trip would just involve going to the nearest place that sold clothes, grabbing the first thing that fits, and heading straight back to the Fiertia.

Yet somehow, Chrona doubted it'll be that easy.

No, it wouldn't. Although Maka had little to no idea of the emotional angst she was causing within Chrona at that very moment. Maka wasn't ridiculously fond of crowds, either, but she could handle them.

"'Scuse me," she said, bullying her way past a larger group of people. What was supposed to be on her list, hmmmm...

"Chrona, should we take care of your new clothes first, or get other stuff first?" She would probably need some new nails, she noted mentally, after loaning hers to that Kamina guy.

Chrona kept extremely close to Maka as they weaved their way between thr groups of people. The last thing she needed was to be separated from the other girl, completely lost, surrounded by strangers and lots of yelling and--

She shuddered, shaking off her train of thought right there. That was a situation she hoped she would never get stuck in.

"Um... I-It doesn't matter, really...." She said. "Whatever shop we can get to first..."

Maka nodded and looked away again. She couldn't quite make out the signs in the distance, though, so she'd probably have to keep pushing her way through. This was not the part she missed about traveling around.

"You want to take my hand, though, Chrona? I don't want us getting separated here."

It also might be easier to drag Chrona around if she had ahold of her. But she wasn't going to mention that part. She just didn't want the poor girl to get lost and end up in a corner somewhere.

Chrona was silent for a moment. She still wasn't used to much contact with other people(positive contact, that is). Only two other people had even tried to touch her so far; the first was Kamina, and that was a somewhat traumatic experiance that she'd rather not repeat. The other was that Mion girl, but she had only grabbed Chrona so she could get at Ragnarok. Actually, that too was something she'd be glad to never go through again.

But... Maka was diffrent. So maybe it would be alright. And it would lower their chances of getting separated...

"U-Um.... okay..." Slowly, Chrona reached out a shaking hand.
