"My, Aragaki seems to have outdone himself this time."

"Ne, is he always like this?" She asked Agrias with a little smile.

"You mean doing things that are detrimental to his health? Yes," she smiled.

"How are you doing?" Rangiku asked the other blond with a grin. Agrias looked rather well to her after surviving a few days of pure chaos. The Silvana was nearly done with most of it's repairs thanks to the slightly eerie dedication of the crew. However she honestly hoped that none of the officers aboard the ship were running themselves ragged trying to fix everything.

Food had been on the forefront of Joshua's mind, especially when it sounded like the Silvana's kitchen was going to be busy. He ended up arriving fashionably late to the dinner, but with so much food, Joshua didn't think he'd be missing out on much. So he settled himself down at an empty seat and reached out for the last piece of the black forest cake.

Really, did they have to get the gore on the ceiling? It was hell to clean out of windows, too. Fucking nasty, especially near the infirmary. One of these days, he was going to get Luppi back for getting him stuck there ( ... )

Once there, he helped himself to some booze (a little wouldn't hurt after all) and some treats before wandering to the side and noticed Joshua as well as a blond that he couldn't quite recognize where from.. Isshin grinned as he went up to the other two and settled himself quite nicely beside Joshua and watched in slight amusement at the duo who seemed to be ready to fight for the last piece of cake while sipping from his booze.

So he completely ignored the outburst from the stranger and let his fingers quickly dodge under the stranger's hand, taking hold of the cake.

"Congratulations?" the pilot wryly put in, with the barest trace of a smile on his lips.

The planes and flying mean a lot to Hibari, but that goes without saying. The pilot leans against the wall, looking off briefly towards the mess hall (crowd; uninteresting) before turning back and tilting his head at Shinji.
"You sound like an old man."

Shinjiro snorted again, rolling his eyes to the crowd as well and watching his crewmates mulling happily. He would never admit it, but the sight pleased him. Though secretly, he was watching out for someone specific.
"Adrenaline plus no sleep will do that." He wasn't about to bring up his knee. No way in hell.

It was difficult being new, though. Toris had Feliks with him, sure. But he also wanted to make more friends. Or at least be useful in some way. He sat at a table, finally resting after helping with the dinner, and looked around the room. Everyone seemed so relieved.

Hikari set one last tray of food out, and plopped down at the table, right across from Toris. She had wiped the sweat away from her bangs before she noticed she wasn't alone, and nearly jerked in her seat. It didn't take long for her to calm down, though, and she smiled at her fellow cook.
"Hello there," she said, her good cheer making up for her lack of energy.

"Thanks for all your help tonight." And every night.

"Give that back!" Disoriented as he still was to some degree, Mello had not by any means missed the smug little bastard swiping the disputed cake slice. Then, there was only one thing to do.
He half-stalked, half-ran after the offender, slightly slowed by the number of people still standing (why couldn't they just find a seat, stupid idiots in the way!) and furiously reaching for whatever he could grab to throw at Joshua's head.
... There might have been a flying buttered bread slice or so in there somewhere, Mello not even registering the somewhat odd pair of cooks as he stormed past them, or the destination of some of his off throws.

Hoping he'd been of some use in the kitchen he was surprised everything had turned out as well as it had. He'd made it a point to keep an eye on the desserts. Never really one for conversation he just sat quietly by the other man and watched all the other crew members talk and mill about.

"You were a lot of help."

"I really didn't do that much. It's easy enough to follow a recipe." Nibbling on his food the boy kept an eye on the dessert table knowing exactly what he'd get when he was done.
