I've looked and looked, and I am a bit confused! I want to install geneticized skintones, but I'm not exactly sure how. I have downloaded them all, and extracted. Do I just put them in my downloads folder, and that's that? I don't have to set them to defaults or anything, right?

Just want to make sure my game doesn't go all 'splodey on me! :-p

Not sure if anyone would be interested, but I'm working on compiling a family tree for my legacy. I thought I'd share what I had so far, for those of you who like sim genetics.

I started this little experiment a few days ago, and now that it's done I've decided to share it with the community. I simply took the 30 original Pleasantview townies and bred them over a few generations until I got six Sims that were descendants of every single one of them. 1. Does anyone know about a mod that would make your game forget about dominant and recessive genes (or in this case, eyes)?
 Some of my townies have gorgeous eyes that are unfortunately super recessive, so they can't pass them on to Maxis spawn (my Brandi Broke had a kid with a guy with super recessive eyes, so ofcourse the kid got Brandi's ( Read more... )

So - what's the difference between a custom skin, townified skin, geneticized skin, and default skin? How can I make townies wear more custom content?

And just to keep things interesting, what's your favorite site for custom content, besides MTS2?

Recently in my game, I had an abduction. That alien grew up...and then got abducted. I have a Multi-PT hack installed with four replacement technicians. I thought the pollinator of this alien would be one of the three that wasn't her own pollinator, but it turned out to be the Maxis default PT...which should be overwritten by the Multi-PT hack.
