Watching Stars

I've just watched Einstein and Eddington. It was beautiful. Don't miss it if you get a chance to see it. Not only is the subject matter of great interest, but the film itself is wonderful. Something that could have been quite dry and dull is here utterly captivating.

This is British telly when it's at its best. *sigh*

I saw the last quarter of that and thought it looked great! Beautifully shot and Andy Serkiss was brilliantly wacky as Einstein. I'm watching him now as a real villain in Little Dorrit.

Oddly enough, and unlike the vast majority of women, I can't really take to David Tennant - but I DID like him in this role! He was perfect.

Tennant is too much pretty-boy for my taste. XD

I thought they were both great in their roles, though. But Serkis did make a very endearing Einstein. :)

I didn't recognize Jim Broadbent at all, though!
