I am now home from Costume Con 26. It was brilliant, despite the initial hiccup of my managing to lose my mobile/cell phone!

There's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film to see on the 13th and then there is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to read on the 21st!!

Portraits of Children in 16th century Costume.

It shows portraits of children in the 16th to 19th centuries. Look in particular at the English section page 1 - the two portraits of sisters are just SO gorgeous! I DO wish we were doing late 1590s this year because these costumes are just perfect.

Sewing Room update
edmndclotworthy very kindly helped me with a badly needed tidy-up of my sewing room this afternoon.
Which was very nice of him!
So I'm making absolutely no comment on the fact that I now have a very large box of thread reels, organised very tidily by order of SIZE... -
