Cutaneous allodynia sounds exactly like what I have.  Except that the only references to it I've found are in conjunction with migraines, which I rarely get. 

Friday night:
Setting: the last 2 rows in the front centre section of an auditorium: 30 to 50 seats filled with Players.  At least 1 row in front of us was completely empty, but there were other non-Players people in the auditorium, not paying attention to us.
