not much a fan of the small worlds ep. i'm gonna skip on the commentary on that (except to say in passing the jas' mum and step da (?) were very rude to jas. expecting her to talk to them or act like a "normal kid" and then ignoring her otherwise.)

and poor jack...ianto acted like he hadn't kissed jack. (though from the way they've been acting, they've quite clearly done more than that, even after Lisa.)

Dude, with high quality lol-arious recaps like this--and lowest common denominator jokes like the final macro--it was worth the delay. Personally, in terms of bringing the funneh, I think this was second only to shadydave's Epic Fail! Torchwood recaps from a couple of years ago.

Jack as the worst boss ever is well-trod territory. Still: seriously dude?! WORST. BOSS. EVAR.

Sexretary: with creative wordplay like that, how can anyone say you're wasting your talents or life on the interwebs?!

I think that somehow Jack managed to jimmy some kind of TARDIS-y type tech in there to make it bigger on the inside. IT IS THE ONLY PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION.

First, I need to never read these posts when I'm pretending to still be doing homework. My laughsnortchoke sounds are not convincing anyone that I'm writing an operations management paper.

Second, I am going to put something out there. Just saying it. Jack's American Old West accent is fucking TERRIBLE. "Let's see if there's any room in the inn." CRINGE. And in Tosh-has-alien-lesbian-sex episode, "I take it you're not from around these parts." STOP IT JACK JUST STOP.

Also, casual!Ianto makes my knees go all wibbly.

HI, IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN. COUNTRYCIDE IS AWESOME, I COULDN'T STAY AWAY. TORCHWOOD TAKES ALL ITS CAMP AND GOES CAMPING. OMG DID YOU SEE THAT? LOOK AT IT AGAIN, IT WAS AWESOME. AND TRUTH.

Ianto in this episode is love. He's tortured and scared and HEROICALLY STARTS A FIGHT HE KNOWS HE CAN'T WIN TO HELP TOSH GET AWAY, WHILE HE'S OBVIOUSLY ABOUT TO PISS HIMSELF OR GET HIMSELF KILLED. It's adorable. Especially so, considering he does this after he alienates himself from the team earlier with the kissing discussion, but he's totally willing to let himself get hurt for the others and be in the team. WHEN I FIRST WATCHED TORCHWOOD, THIS WAS THE EPISODE WHEN I REALIZED I WOULD BE STAYING WITH TORCHWOOD FOR THE WHOLE THING.

I cannot figure out why the fairies killed Estelle. Really, SOMEONE EXPLAIN PLEASE. I KNOW THE RIFT CAUSES TEARS IN SPACE AND TIME, BUT PLOT, WUT? I MIGHT REQUIRE SOME CRACK AND MACROS TO UNDERSTAND.
