[The SFC turns on, and at first, nothing is seen except for the dark interior of Yomiel's apartment - it's rather empty, except for the view of a shattered coffee table lying on the floor like a wounded animal. Returning back to the way he once was has hit him harder than he thought it would. To have something you've missed for so long taken away ( Read more... )

That was a heinous amount of introduction for such a short and simple question. Sounds like you're the type that likes to listen to themselves talk.

Gummiships? Never heard of them, but I guess those are things that only the people on your world know about.

[...D:]

Yeah, but "good" and "evil" aren't exactly concepts that can be easily defined. Unless this "darkness" of yours is something else...?

Can't say I ever got the hang of them. I preferred to travel through different means.

[All the delicious things he could do with that darkness, if only he could summon some heartless.]

Darkness and light are merely just two essences of the world. Two tips on the same scale, if you will. But evil and harm can be committed in the name of Light as easily as it can be in the name of Darkness.

[He smiles, and holds out his hand, slowly drawing tendrils of darkness together until it is just a coiled ball of darkness on his palm.]

It is pretty fascinating.

Hmmm? Like what?

[You are totally not making a Nobody out of me, no sirree. >B(]

Essences? Like, worlds are made of light and darkness, is that what you're saying?

[...!]

What-what is that?!

Corridors mostly.

And that is the popular theory, yeah.

[Popular theory, but also wrong. Cause he knows there is a third element in the balance. No use spilling all the beans though.]

This is darkness.

Corridors? Like wormholes?

[Yomiel frowns. No wonder the sight of it made him feel bad.]

What in the world are you doing with it? Besides, that can't be darkness. Darkness isn't material.

well, I suppose that is one way to put it. They're hallways between words.

[He just lets it slip from one hand to another.]

Nothing. I'm just guiding it and calling it together. And really, if this is not darkness, then what it i? It's no cheap magic trick.

Hallways? Hard to imagine someone walking through space to other planets, but okay then.

People use magic here, so I'm not surprised. But this is the first time I've ever saw someone wield darkness...you've been playing a bit too much with your experiments, huh?

Haha, maybe.

[Oh, Yomiel. You have no idea how much too deep in he got.]

Still, it is fascinating. Light can be manipulated like this as well.

...

I don't know, you don't strike me as the type of guy who can manipulate light. Have no idea why, though.

Hey, I'll have you know light is a very hard element to manipulate.

[A smirk.] I'm sure it is.

So...what do you do with darkness and light? Play with it for long hours at home?

Definitely. Sometimes we even play dress up.

[A chuckle.]

Okay, but seriously, what's the use of it? Are you building government weapons with it? That's what I would do, if I had the chance...

I told you already, I come from a place with multiple worlds. Why would I want to support one government over the other? Why limit myself like that?

I don't know, wouldn't they pay you well?

But who do you work for, if not a government? Someone has to fund your research.
