all that is, all that was (and all of it for him) Ten2/Rose, implied Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose, PG
It’s after a particularly trying day and in the middle of a rather fantastic row that Rose yells at him that’s something along the lines of, “You know what I don’t understand?” and he responds with a sarcastic, “What don’t you understand Rose?” which ( Read more... )

He’s prone to disappear for days at a time with no word and then appear out of nowhere with a broken arm splinted with a magazine and a roll of cling wrap - or something equally as daft and terrifying.

SO MUCH LOVE for this line! In one sentence, you've captured him, just as I imagine him. Just great.

Awww... I loved that. Loved it all - a lot - but that just distilled Rose and the Doctor and Bad Wolf down to just twelve words... :D

Thank you! I had a hard time thinking of a title but once I got that one down I knew I'd hit on the money :)

Oh this is beautiful! I love that they both reassure each other. And the bit about their forever? GUH. I just love that. Brilliant work.

Thank you :D

I do love these two. It's nice too, I think, that the Bad Wolf knew it couldn't last but put something in place to make sure that a part of the Doctor was always kept safe with his Rose.

Oh, god. Why can't I stay is one of the most devastating phrases in the English language, and you used it to such great effect here. In a different tense, but still.

Yes, and certainly one of the most devastating phrases in Doctor Who. It makes so much sense to me though, that Rose would wonder why she wasn't allowed to stay with him, whether it was fate or the grand design of the universe or god or whatever...I like the idea that the Bad Wolf was responsible, ultimately, for this small part of the Doctor being allowed to be loved always by his Rose and she by him.

Thank you as always for reading :)
