I just spent 2 hours catching up on reading, and I'm still not done. Thanks a heap, OU bookstore. :(

Finially got to the OU campus gym. I really love having these three hours between classes--I can geat, go to the gym, do homework, and waste time blogging. :p

Well, I've completed my assigned reading (as well as a long chapter of my new fav on-line fic), and find myself with about an hour before I've got to get moving. I'm going to have to start bringing 'pleausre' reading books in too--but at least I won't have much homework to do at home. :)

I LOVE my new school schedual. I'm there for a long time 2 days a week, but it means I have 4 day weekends EVERY DAY this semester! More time to look for jobs, do homework, EVERYTHING! :D Granted, since I don't have my books yet, I'm spending today online, mowing the lawn, and doing other chores, but it's still awsome.

Well, my other 2 classes look to be good ones. I like both my teachers, and all the english majors in my third class are a HOOT! :) 8-5 won't be so bad after all, methinks.

Well, I've just had my first class of the new semester, history. It's a low level class, with absolutly NO reasearch outside of the provided texts  (my instructor was very clear about this). Got the requisite 'Plagerism is bad' lecture. I'll get that at least once more today, if not twice. Now is my three hour block of NOTHING. I plan to use the ( Read more... )

Classes start tomorrow at 8:00, which means I have to get up at 7--not bad, but I've been sleeping in a LOT this summer. *Sigh* 8-5, Tuesdays and Thursdays isn't bad. I've got interesting classes too--An American lit class, an American history class, and a linguistics (shudder) class.

Well, after weeks of waiting to hear from OU, I found out I DID NOT get the student assistant job, despite being qualified, experienced, and avalible.

Looks like I'll be working with dogs for a loooooong time.

My dog walk was cancled/postphoned due to the inclimate weather. :( I could have used the $10, but probably not before Wensday. Oh well ( Read more... )

 F-R-E-E! No more crappy lingustics class for me! Sure, I have two finish my Paper/do my analysis of my Advanced Writing class, but I LIKE that class, so I don't care! WOOOOOT!
