Heigh-Ho
Classes start tomorrow at 8:00, which means I have to get up at 7--not bad, but I've been sleeping in a LOT this summer. *Sigh* 8-5, Tuesdays and Thursdays isn't bad. I've got interesting classes too--An American lit class, an American history class, and a linguistics (shudder) class.
I have a nice 3 hour block between my first and second classes, meaning an actual lunch break, and time to do homework/use the gym. :D I'm a lot more motivated when I'm already on campus for gym use.
Still looking for a job on campus/more Dog walking/House sitting clients. Either one would provide the money I need.
I finally saw 'Bubba Ho-Tep' and 'Behind the Mask: The rise of Leslie Vernon'. The latter was a superior mocumentary/horror film about a serial killer and how he finds his victims, plots his comeback, etc. 'Bubba' was a nice Bruce Campbell flick, but not nearly as zany as usual. More dramady than horror, actually.
Working on a new House fic, after swearing off them for at least a month. I'm not giving anything away, but it does follow one of my 'usual' plotlines. Can I get typecast as 'the one writer who does nothing but *X* type of crack!fic?' It's probably too late already. I'll be up within the month I think, but to avoid a repeat of the delays my last fic caused, I'm gonna write most of this one in advance.
Speaking of House, the extended teaser aired last night looked EXCELENT!! From what we've been hearing, RSL won't be leaving the show--and that's what I really care about. Play duckling roulette all you want, but get rid of Wilson or Cuddy, and the show simply won't work.
Well, that's about it. I'm off to watch Puppetmaster on Google. :)
