I don't often blog about politics for the reason I often don't usually have strong opinions, even though certain world events do move me quite a bit.  Here's a round up of recent issues I've read that I feel very strongly about.

I am NOT exaggerating.  It's pretty bad when your screen pops up and says... ERROR LOADING: CANNOT FIND OPERATING SYSTEM.

Meet poor baby girl... her IV was leaking, so the nurse had to pull it out.  Then her doctor requested a CBC (complete blood count).  The nurses (2 and me) were there.  I was there just to hold her pacifer in and hold down her leg(s).  The other nurse prepared the other nurse with the catheters etc. and also helped by squeezing some sucrose from a ( Read more... )

USA is out so it's logical (considering I studied in the UK for 6 months) to root for England.  The curious aspect of this cheering angle is that I'm not particularly fond of some of the players on the English team.  I guess it's my partiality to the country itself rather than the players.  Whatever.  It made me feel satisfied when England (vs. ( Read more... )

Rain, rain, rain, 8+ inches of it and is it any wonder that Houston floods?
