[2011] The LaviYu Drabble Contest: Info & Questions
Hello, lovely LaviYu fans!
While wishing Kanda a happy birthday, we also celebrate the opening of the fest... And this year, that will be a tiny, little, simple contest that we hope will be not too much work but lots of fun to all of us!
So, without further babbling, I present you
THE LAVIYU 100 THEMES DRABBLE CONTEST!
It's all very simple! All you need to do to participate is write a 100 words fanfiction or a drabble, based on one of the 100 themes compiled by our awesome mellmell . There will be no pre-sign-up nor theme claiming (although we do encourage to try and pick different themes). One person can submit from a single one to a maximum of three drabbles during the duration of the contest.
The contest will end at the beginning (12:00 AM by Honolulu time) of the LaviYu Day, July 8th, and that is the ultimate deadline - however, you are free to submit your drabbles during the whole course of the contest, from June 6th to July 8th, doing so by replying to this post in the HQ. After the closing, full compilation of the entries with the authors' names will also be posted on RabiYuu comm later on July 8th.
Once that is done (we expect not to take longer than a couple of days), the winners will be selected and announced. Our judge team ( dementiamorphea , tossino , thebes_rain , digital_eon , charlzway ) is going to pick 3 favorite entries each and give them points from 3 to 1; also every entry that is exactly 100 words length will receive an extra point. Winners will be decided by the highest number of gathered points.
1st place winner will receive a fanart by raburabu_sama (work example) based on their prompt, 2nd place winner gets a scanned pencil fanart by dementiamorphea (work example) based in their prompt, and 3rd place winner will get a full-length (500-3000w) fanfiction by mugen_edamame (work example), also based on their prompt. So, as you can see, it's definitely worth it - looking forward to reading your drabbles, you lovely people! <3
