Why is someone outside apparently shovelling snow at 4 in the morning.
For that matter, why are there always noises outside at 4 in the morning.
And I wonder why I don't go to bed earlier. This shit's scary. -
The best things in life are unsustainable.
I helped my dad set up the Christmas tree today - just holding it up while he did the work of attaching it to the base, but it brought me really close to the tree. Right up against it. All I could think of is "wow, the trees used to seem so big". It's only eight feet tall now; we used to have twelve-foot trees, but I don't think the extra four feet ( Read more... ) -

I am not happy right now.
I have just finished reading the thirteenth book of The Wheel of Time and... well, it's excellent. I've loved this series for eight years and even with end-of-semester papers and tests coming up I couldn't put it down. Very exciting, very emotional, it's a great book. I have no problems with it.

...but it turns out that since I first got an LJ as an emo weaboo (pre?)teen, things have changed and communities can actually be good places to get news on things or discuss said news.
