1.) Yesterday I unscrewed and opened my Laptop. Boy was I freaked. It's a second hand piece and not the newest and it broke down. I knew what was wrong so I decided to open it and try my hand at repairing it since I had pretty much given up on it already. So I "fixed" it with the help of: A sewing needle. Tweezers. Saw Hannibal Rising. Surprisingly, not as boring as I had feared (though I still suspect that I might have felt gipped if I had watched it in the movie theater).

Things I learned/movies I watched in the meantime:

Happy Feet: I cried. Mostly because the ending felt so unrealistic to me and it's depressing to feel like an ending like that could never happen in real life.

Art: I went to the Yves Klein art show with a friend. I have this friend who I just love seeing art with. To me, art is like music. I can enjoy it, but quite frankly, I know that I have no deeper understanding of it. But with her... It's so much fun to go around and see her get totally freaked out by pictures. Yesterday I saw Populärmusik från Vittula (apparently Vittula is Swedish Finnish for Cunt and it's also the rather unfortunate name of their town). It's a Swedish movie. My friend made me read the book it is based on (which is hilarious; the author describes growing up in a backwater town in Sweden and the situations he describes remind me a lot ( Read more... )
