The Station Agent

I have to give a plug to a wonderful little gem of a movie, 'The Station Agent'. It didn't get any notice at the Oscars last year (although it did get an award at the Sundance Film Festival), but it was much much better than 'Mystic River' or 'Lost in Translation'. I remember hearing about this movie, but I think it became one of those that drifted off into one of those filing cabinets in my mind (it's just a matter of figuring out which one LOL). I may have to check it out. I'm fast running out of new releases on Netflix -- well, new stuff I'm interested in seeing anyway. Saw Love Actually last night and I'm not sure if I liked it or not LOL It wasn't bad but it just...*sigh* I don't know. By the time it was over, I was totally confused. Maybe ten storylines was 6 or 7 too many. But there was Colin Firth! Gotta love Colin! (Need to get out my copy of Pride and Prejudice some night to watch).

Still have In America to watch and I've been renting the first season of SCTV. I hate to say this with all the new stuff out there, but the last movie I watched and got excited over as a DVD release was The Adventures of Robin Hood and its' bonus disc!

No going out to the movies this weekend, even for $1.00! I've seen everything I'm going to see for a while.
