I received an email from a paleontologist today

A new species of dinosaur, Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis, was named last week, though Dr. David Schwimmer has been working with the bones of the early tyrannosaurid for over twenty years now. I emailed him asking under what genus and species they had been labeled while on display for the past several years, and he responded within the hour
