Fiona had spent the better part of the night holed up in the attic and later in various other rooms. When she did look into the room she shared with Nanaki and Courtney, they hadn't been there...she hadn't seen them at all, actually. It was rather disheartening, she hoped they'd gotten through the night without too much trouble.

Well, night was over now and she was beginning another half-hearted. It couldn't hurt. Walking into a room she hadn't visited before, she stopped rather abruptly upon noticing that there was a boy already there. The heiress folded her hands over her stomach before reluctantly deciding to approach him, "Oh...um...hello..."

Simon was delirious, he had spent the most of the imperishing night hiding in the tunnels he dug beneath the greenhouse from the roving monsters ( ... )

There was - a girl next to him. It wasn't someone he knew. He stared at the ground, thumb tracing over the buttons on his SDAT, not wanting to speak. (He heard the sounds of water coming from the next room, the sink running. Imagined slashed veins of LCL, the sickening splash of -)

Fiona frowned, questioning the lack of a response. Was there something wrong with her...? She supposed it was possible that he was just antisocial. He was fiddling with a device she'd never seen before. She was curious as to what it was, but didn't ask.

She heard the running water and did an about-face, peering back into the bathroom. There was a boy, he looked positively filthy, but also rather startled. Not that she could blame him, this place was so freakish, especially at night. She offered a pleasant "hello" of her own in hopes of dismissing any fears he might have had. She looked from Simon to Shinji. Neither of them looked very well... "Are you two alright...?"

Simon stared back at Fiona half in delirium and half in stupor.
He didn't socialize well, especially not with pretty girls. Granted, a girl was better then a monster; so Simon swallowed the lump in his throat and pointed his attentions anywhere but on direct eye contact.

"Y-yeah, I'm alright..." he squeaked. He was just tired and hungry, Simon assured himself, it wasn't worth troubling anyone over. His eyes focused back on the still-running sink and he jumped to stop wasting the water.
