Somehow, he had managed to make it through the long night without suffering too much. The ghosts hadn't been too hard to manage, being used to the spirits that resided within the Manor of Sleep. The only ones that had been worrisome were the impaled creatures (so much like the Needle Women and the image of the Impaled Priestesses) and that one screaming ghost...

Kei wondered if his ears will ever stop ringing from the screams.

Passing through the Entrance Hall, the young man comes to a stop when he sees the princess standing at the door. What must have once been a beautiful gown now ruined... She looked fine enough, but-

"Miss? Are you okay?"

Moving closer, he stops a few paces away. She might have been injured the previous night...

Euphemia heard a voice, and turned to see who had spoken. Oh, good! It was a young Japanese man! She hadn't lost her chance after all.

But she didn't have a weapon. That would be problematic.

Smiling sweetly, hands folded in front of herself, she greeted him. "Why, hello there." If she wasn't okay, her tone of voice gave no indication thereof. "Do you know where we are? This isn't Nippon, is it?"

It was eerie, how calm she was despite the fact that she was covered in blood. The camera filament wasn't reacting to her at all, so she was human... Unaware of the Geass left on Euphie but sensing that there was just something off, Kei wisely keeps a couple of paces between himself and the strange young girl.

A small nod at the greeting before he frowns. Then again... it would make sense if she only just arrived.

"No, this isn't Japan." It seemed a bit odd to refer to it like that. "None of us are exactly sure where this is but" a gesture to her ruined dress "Did something happen to you before arriving here?"

Are you okay? Maybe they should go find some spare clothes for her...

Oh, how odd. How could she be anywhere but Japan? Pretty confusion crossed Euphie's face. How very strange.

But that didn't matter. Here, now, there was a Japanese person -- right? He certainly looked the part. "No, nothing happened," she replied, remembering her manners despite her incessant urge to... to... "Would you please answer a question for me? Are you Japanese?"

The frown deepens as she simply brushes off his question. For her to look the way she did and claim that 'nothing happened'...

"That shouldn't matter right now. Are you sure you're all right?" All that blood... was it hers, or did it belong to someone else? He'd have to take care. "There might be a change of clothes, somewhere in this house."

Adding 'you'll startle someone if you're covered in blood' didn't seem like the right thing to say, not after what he witnessed that night.
