"It does matter," Euphemia insisted, standing her ground. She looked around the room in search of a weapon. There was a vase on a table nearby. Perhaps that... "Please, I have to know. What is your name? Are you Japanese?"
At this point she had a one-track mind. It would be very difficult to dissuade her.
The filament wasn't glowing, which meant that she was human. Covered in blood, either she was part of a fight or a witness to something horrific... Shouldn't she be reacting in a more negative manner to that then?
Euphemia smiled, stepping now toward the table upon which the vase rested. She had her answer. She picked up the vase and turned toward Kei, still smiling gently. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Kei. My name is Euphie." No longer a princess, she was renouncing that title. If she had her soldiers here she would retain it for the purpose of massacre, but she was alone. "Now, would you mind doing me one more favor?"
She may have been inclined to kill him, but she wasn't very good at harming people. As she requested, "Please die!" she chucked the vase at his head.
As she steps towards the table he takes a step away from her. Concerned as he was for the well-being of the young girl, the fact that this was starting to take a turn for the worse. 'Euphie'? What an odd name. His expression turns to confusion when she asks of a favor. What did she plan-
"!!!"
One thing walking through the Manor had helped him with was his reaction time. Ducking quickly, he narrowly dodged the vase heading at him. Recovering from his surprise, he stands up again to stare wide-eyed at the young girl - Euphie, her name was Euphie - before thinking through his options...
Oh Yuu... Mafuyu... What did he get himself into this time?
Euphie's smile was gone. Why had he dodged? He was only making it harder on both of them, and now she'd lost her weapon. No... maybe she hadn't. It was in pieces on the floor. Without answering his question, she made her move, darting around him to grab one of the shards of the vase.
