Been there! Been there! We were weird, we walked up and took the train down. More sporting that way, you see.

Oddly, all I really remember of that day, though, was the collection of really yummy pies Dad had in his knapsack. Mmmmmm.

I would have loved to walk up, but it was sooooo cold.

I always remember the little details like that from when I was a kid too. And sometimes now as well. I'll probably always remember the fish and chips we ate at a shop there, as well as numerous amusing postcards of Welsh sheep in the adjoining shop.
