Hello ladything! I am glad you are recovered from Evil Flu!
Dollhouse was PHENOMENAL. It pretty much completely blew my face off. I LOVED and was completely intrigued by the complicated Saunders-Topher conclusion to season 1, but I never dreamed it would become half of the season 2 premiere! I have always loved Topher with reckless abandon, and noted every nuance of his character, and the idea that he had designed an imprint that he would be around every day to hate him was so poignant and awful and heartbreaking that I didn't know what to DO with myself. And THEN, Joss blows my mind by revealing that he actually DIDN'T do that, and Topher's kind of in shock from these waves of hostility and hatred rolling off of Claire, but you can tell he kind of feels he deserves them, and it's just one big delicious mess of angst and existential crisis! Fran Kranz and Amy Acker were absolutely phenomenal. ♥____

ME TOO. However, it appears I have managed to infect my entire family unit, so well-played me.
OH MY GOODNESS, RIGHT!? I had completely forgotten it was premiering this week, and when I dragged my diseased ass out of bed Saturday morning my father refused to speak to me until I saw it. Gahhh, it was so good. That scene between Saunders/Whiskey and Topher did actually kill me. It's so nice to see my irrational love for Topher validated by his incredible work and developments in "Epitaph One" and this most recent episode. \o/
I only watched the first season of Battlestar Galactica but it still made me flail and laugh to hear Jamie Bamber's accent. APOLLO'S TALKING LIKE A BRIT. It made me giggle....and also the scene where he attacks Echo was insanely good. Gahh! I really thought she almost got away with it

then spend the hour in chapel restraining myself from referring to God as "bro" in my prayers lol lol lol, you make me happy even when theater insanity is making me want to hit my head against the wall. ilu.
also, the oc is a really great show to marathon. i learned this during my year off from school. and i obviously love greek. and party down is wonderful because it's basically a giant veronica mars reunion show. it would also be easy to watch all of, because there haven't been that many episodes so far.
Oh man, I am all up in Claire/Topher's business. I admit that I am way more interested in that half of the plot than anything about Paul/Echo or the job of the week, which is kinda faily and miss-thhe-point-y on my part. I guess I just find Topher a much much more compelling character because he's All There, and is way way smarter than everyone else in theory and also THE LAB MICE.
And on another note, literally just in this last week, I have gone all-in on Big Bang Theory. I'd seen bits in the past but not enough to push me over the edge to download, and then their award presentation bit on the Emmy's plus watching the season premiere because my brother was here visiting and he's really into it caused me to download the first two seasons and have been watching a few episodes a day when I'm not working or watching other actual new shows of stuff I already know and love. I am so glad I'm not the only one just getting into this fandom right now because I have to flail at SOMEONE in real time. :DDD
While I was a little disappointed in the lack of Claire/Topher this week, I was scary impressed with the step-up in acting ability of Eliza Dushku. I didn't see it so much in the premiere, but this week, I really did.
I am only in season two, but we will discuss more soon!
Hiii squishy! I'm happy you're alive and well. \o/ I lost my voice a couple of weeks ago, it really is hilarious. I went around my house singing "My sticky shoe, my sticky, sticky shoooe" like Phoebe in Friends that one time she had a cold. I'm a dork like that!
TBBT is adorable! I started watching regularly last season and I was charmed by all the characters. Sheldon would be impossible to live with, I'm sure, but their shenanigans are entertaining!
OH GOD, HOW GOOD WAS DOLLHOUSE? Nnngh, SHOW. Topher is my faaavorite! The dynamics with Saunders/Whisky blew my mind. What happens inside the Dollhouse is a lot more interesting than the engagements they have. Then again, when the engagements include Jamie Bamber, I'm not going to complain! His accent. I can't wait to see what they do with Paul because he's never been particularly interesting and his heroic attempts fail big time! Eliza was pretty fucking good this time around, I agree. If this is what season 2 is shaping up to be, bring it on! \o/
Sheldon is so amazing! And I totally buy that he falls somewhere on the autistic spectrum. His Aspie traits are waaay too spot-on. Also, Leonard is adorable. A lot of the nerd idiosyncrasies they portray are also pretty on the nose. The one that convinced me to stick with the show was the bit in Season 1 where Penny gets furniture for her media center delivered and the boys decide that they need to reconstruct it to be more "efficient". I'm like, Oh God, that's my whole life right there.
TOPHER TOPHER TOPHER. I have loved him since the pilot, so I'm glad that he's getting A+ material. :D
