btw, not to make you all think that fatherhood is all baby cuteness, I'd like to note that letting your daughter eat cheerios and guzzle water at a restaurant until she's had enough may not be a good idea because you may being seeing those cheerios again sooner than you had expected.

Yesterday was a good day. I didn't workout like I'd wanted to; I didn't get hardly anything done around the house; I didn't get as much of the work that I wanted to try and do done. Just now, I was crouched down next to Liv on the floor, both of us in a crawl position. So I turn to her and (jokingly) say, "Let's race." She takes one look at me and then bolts off at a full speed crawl across the floor towards Andrea.

She won, hands down--I was too busy laughing to catch up. :)

Andrea was recently appointed as the National Editor of the Clef, which is the newsletter for the music fraternity that we both belong to (congrats btw, honey). Big day today. Our church had it's Dedication of Children ceremony today and we took part in it with Liv. A dedication in the UU church is sort of like a baptism, a public pledge by the family and the community of faith to nurture the child, but without the doctrine-specific aspects of a baptism.
