NPC: Gladis Hathaway [the neighbor]
Location: Outside the Harts' home. Located in an upper middle class neighborhood of Winchester, the house is a three-story Victorian that looks like it could use a little maintenance. [ooc: kdjsf;f woo. Again, apologize for tag and run, but it's the best time out of any other. Should be able to continue rp throughout tomorrow afternoon to late evening.]

It had been quite some time since X got outside--truly outside. Like, you know, not just ten yards away from the Orphanage. Regardless, he had a job to do. Peering up at the giant wooden fence and the security signs, ideas flooded through his head. Ah, but paranoia can be so helpful.

Counting steps, counting thoughts, counting words he memerized in his notes, X headed to the front of the Harts' little abode to find the lucky woman he had been dying to meet.

Gardening was a marvelous cover-up for snooping. And that was, really, what Gladis was doing. This had been the most exciting week of her life and all of her attention was on the house next door and the people who came and went there.

Of course, she never expected an investigator that age, so when she spotted X she called out, "Oh, are you a friend of dear Debbie's? Oh child, her pa ent at home right now!"

X turned his gaze to Gladis when she spoke to him. He took notice of her height at first. If, say Deborah had been stabbed or maybe even shot, the point of impact being at a height similiar to Gladis's could serve as an advantage for his team investigation. Harmless as she seemed, publicity was in the rank of percentages for why criminals committed their deeds ( ... )
