December looms again

So, December is approaching.  A time when the sun dies, Canada does its imitation of Dante's ninth level of hell, and our vitamin D levels bring us perilously close to developing rickets.  Due to these circumstances, our social outings must be chosen with care, as each excursion brings with it the risk of broken hips and frostbite.  Or, given

I am most likely going to be going up north to see my mother and stepfather, though I don't know the precise dates yet. But as always, this is dependent on various variables, including winter weather (they're tentatively planning on renting a van and coming down here to collect me, my sister and her kids, and Kiska, but if it's too snowy they don't like to drive long distances), lining up cat-sitting, etc.

If I don't go up north, I would be very much up for some kind of holiday get-together. And even if I do, I'd love to see people before or after.

As I general rule, I loathe the holidays. But fuck it, I'm willing to give it a shot. I'm all for Booze and a bit of cheer. So yeah, lemme know whats going on?
