Summary: Marie runs into Astrid during the lunch rush

Marie had gotten off of work earlier than she had expected. She didn’t feel like going back to her apartment for lunch so she decided to drop by the Sunshine Diner again instead. While she knew that Ryan would be moving out on Monday, that didn’t change the fact that his boxes were still there now. Besides, Marie thought, she needed to get out more anyways. After having sorted papers at River’s she had been rather hermit like, with the exception of work and school. If nothing else, eating out would give her the time to people watch.
The fates seemed to be on her side when not ten minutes after she had been seated a rush of people swarmed the diner. Quicker than Marie had thought possible, all of the tables in the diner were full. She felt bad for whoever came in next, seeing as how everyone who was currently in the diner had just been seated. Marie guessed that the wait would be, at least, a good 30 minutes. Oh well, Marie thought, as she turned her eyes back to the menu in front of her.
