The Mochi Gods Smile Upon Me

HUZZAH! Unlike last time, Operation Mochi was a success today! Yee-haw! Of course, this time neither of my siblings will be visiting but at least my parents will get their fix of Japanese goodies.

They've changed their selection of products to go with the spring, so I thought there were less mochis and more jellies, which I'm not such a fan

I've never had any of that, but I don't think the jellies appeal all that much to me, either. I am, however, quite fond of things with red bean paste in them, so please eat several for me.

Don't know ANYTHING about mochi, but I do know the feeling of redemption when something that went SO wrong finally goes right.
