Seth Nightlord | Trinity Blood | f/m only pleasemateraeternaDecember 4 2011, 05:35:21 UTC
Seth had taken quite a liking to this online, avatar based game, and kept her characters evenly spaced level wise. But that only meant one thing; all of her characters were a pretty moderate to low level. Oh well, then she wouldn't leave her stomping grounds away from the training area! Right?
Oh. So wrong.
Luckily, she'd taken her first character, an assassin, into the arena instead of a lower level one. But luck wasn't on her side as she didn't exactly stock up on potions or any other kind of healing agent before she went exploring.
This could end badly.
ooc: unless you'd like cr outside of the arena, that's totes okay too. Seth usually wins off the grid, so why not make her lose?
No matter how powerful Nagi was in the real world, his telekinesis didn't carry over into the game world. While he had a strong wizard character, it seemed like he was mismatched in this battle.
He did all he could, but his character was even more fragile than he was and every blow hurt like hell. Eventually, he collapsed near his opponent and breathed heavily.
[OOC: He's lost, obviously, but he'll still use his powers to make this interesting. Please nobody who'll be too kind to him. Ask in PM before getting into edgy/squicky kinks!]
Jane | Original Character | F/openterroristknightDecember 4 2011, 06:00:06 UTC
Fighting at all is one of the things Jane lives for. With her daggers out and speed as maximixed as possible, she gets ready to fight and hopes to win. But even if she loses, she knows she'll enjoy herself afterwards.
The conditions of the fight were why she signed up, after all.
[OOC: To determine winner, call odds or evens. I'll let random.org pick a number between 1 and 100. If you call right, your character wins. If not, Jane wins. I can screencap if you want to be sure of the number.]
Marie was confident. Maybe a bit too confident. After all, in her mind, being a wizard with control of the elements and magic was probably the best thing in the world. Spotting the knife wielder, she smirked.
This would be easy for her... a few quick buffs and she would be launching magic like crazy
They both looked to be confident to the point of being cocky. All the spectators would enjoy this fight as it played out, given their energy levels. As soon as the battle began, Jane dashed in to try a small attack; enough to interrupt her casting time would be enough for starts.
As the match began, Marie began whipping up a spell, only to find Jane rushing up to her. There wasn't enough time to go for a big damaging spell at the moment, so she quickly went for a binding spell, hoping to slow her down enough to strike her down.
Poison Ivy | DC Comics | F/M, F/FecosynthesisDecember 4 2011, 07:26:08 UTC
Ivy stepped out of the shadow of the archway. It lead into a massive arena, the patrons all in a state, hooting, shouting cat calls and other such jeering. One match had already concluded, under the public embarrassment of a straight man ... who had lost to a homosexual. She had smirked from the side lines. Ivy knew the risks of losing, but one must play the game to know the rules. This place ... she had woken up here without any precognitive notion as to why. It was time for answers.
The announcer called out her name, though that of her adversary was drowned out by the crowd. She stepped into the arena, weaponless for she, herself, was the weapon. She had first felt ridiculous, playing an online game, but it had helped get a sense for her surroundings; a Love Hotel. How ... megalomaniac. I doubt the Riddler could riddle me that, she thought.
Across the way, she saw her opponent and she was not without humour. Smirking, she took a readying stance - something Ivy had picked up from Catwoman. "Game on."
Braeburn | MLP: FiM | M/F only please~taintfairDecember 4 2011, 09:17:47 UTC
A gamer Braeburn most certainly was not. Furthermore he was a peaceful pony by nature, back when he had been a pony. It was basically through only sheer gumption and devotion of time that he'd reached a high level, but his gear was lacking, his play style unpolished, and his build a train wreck with spare talent points he'd forgotten to even assign yet.
His character, a grappler-type, was fairly simple as well, partially out of laziness and partially out of not wanting to show off too much. Braeburn was normally far more interested in helping others; it almost seems like he wandered into here on accident...
((OOC: It's pretty much impossible to lose to him unless you intentionally throw the fight or are level 1 or something, but I'm open for playing both sides! Also just let me know if you want to play out him getting curbstomped or just skip straight to after. :D))
A Challenger ApproachesthebroodmotherDecember 4 2011, 22:53:24 UTC
Onyxia smirked as she strode onto the field, sizing up her opponent. Big, muscular, no bladed weapons or massive armored gear... and if the quality of the gear was anything to go by, probably not too bright either.
Perfect. It'd be a quick, easy win for her. Soon she'd have the tournament prize. The amulet that was part of the winnings was the last thing she needed to perform the ritual she needed to bind high level dragons to her will. Soon...
Her own gear was some of the very best for her class and level, even if it was an elegant, scantily cut dress and exotic jewelry. But she was a Sorceress who'd specialized in the Enchantress talents - a master of spells, rituals, and bending others to her will. She didn't need heavy, bulky armor or massive muscles.
[ooc: Hi there. She's pretty high level and a powerful spellcaster. She's going to go with offensive spellcasting first to soften him up and wear down his resistance and stamina levels, and then use Charm and Beguile to enthrall him into obeying her will
