My main thought for this week was that Mike and Billy were going to be able to go to Vegas. There is no reason for me to put this behind a cut. The amount of shipping in this show makes me nauseous. I am so damn tired of the UST that I've started tuning out any time Sarah and Mike are on the screen together. So most of the conversation between Zoe and Billy at the beginning, I have no idea of. This episode is honestly the first episode that's made me excited for this new Knight Rider. It revealed a lot about some origins and, for once, I feel like they're going in the ( right direction. [SPOILERS] )

One thing has become imminently clear to me since I've been watching these new episodes, and it is this: if I'm going to watch this show, I need to stop liking real-world physics. They break them at will, and don't quite seem to grasp that that's a bad thing. Maybe I'm picky, but I still like an ( element of realism in my TV. [SPOILERS] )

Something seemed off about this ep from the beginning. It's bothered me a little the whole time and, even with it finished, I still can't figure out just what it is. Now, I'm even more convinced that the premiere was just a bad experience. They were trying to introduce too many people, trying to do too many things. Now that they're into actual casework, I'm a lot happier with the tone they set for the series. ( Things are settling in. )

I've not seen it twice, but it's pretty fresh in my mind all the same.
