I'd like to start this off by saying that I think repremiering on New Year's Eve was a really bad idea, especially after the long hiatus. Their target audience is out partying and getting drunk. This episode was asking for low ratings with this time slot. Do they want the series to be canceled? The episode would've done better next week, I

Man, I didn't even know there was a new episode last night (and I, like the other people you mentioned, were out enjoying New Year's...nice going NBC). I just caught up with it, and I agree, this ep was just...sigh. I don't know if I want a second season either, not if the writers are not going to learn what storytelling is, or character development, or logic, or more importantly how to make an appealing character who people like and root for. Poor Kitt, he's the biggest victim here

Erm, sorry if I ruin your hate parade, but I actually liked this episode. It was way better than past ones, and honestly? I think it can be put up there with the Halloween episode
