mountain trip to Japan

Japan was wonderful - well designed, friendly, exciting. It made me remember that Bedfordshire life is not the only life, and that other people might have got the hang of living well better than we have here. Welcome home much missed emotional post-fiend.

It all sounds wonderful beyond measure, I have always been fascinated by Japan but the extent of my exploration has been to drink green tea, read Mishima, watch Kurosawa and flirt with Buddhism (it didn't fancy me!) I really want to go!

It really does sound like you had a fantastic time and reading your entry brought back many memories.

A friend and I spent ages wandering around on the nightingale floor trying to work out which boards were the 'squeaky' ones. An amazing waste, but amusing, waste of time.
