I've managed to completely miss Eurovision this year. Haven't heard a single song. And, from what I hear, this was one of the best events for quite some time.

Anyone reading this entry on top of my last few entries may be starting to wonder if I have some strange obsession with geese. Well, I don't. I just like being able to see wildlife and take photos of it, and the geese here are just the most accommodating example I have handy, particularly when they're being fed. No matter how much they've improved in terms of megapixels, camera phones are limited by their tiny lenses. They're good enough for landscapes, but for people or smaller objects you need to be within about 6 ft. Happily, the water fowl around the uni lake are sufficiently used to people that this is not impossible. So here's a couple of pics I took ( Read more... )
